What legal action can I take against my employer?

I work in CA at a gym and the owner is terrible. We don't get our paychecks on time, she refuses to deduct taxes from our paychecks (she claims we don't make enough to deduct taxes), a lot of times we have to pay for things out of our pockets (i.e. hand soap, paper towels etc) without being reimbursed. The owner lives out of state the only way to contact her is by phone/email and if we try to contact her about pay or the need of supplies most times she ignores us or she will blame us for not letting her know, we email her almost daily and she claims to never receive them, (we have all the emails saved in our outbox as proof we did in fact send them!) There have been several instances where we have been paid several days late, I personally earlier this month received my check more than 5 days late. And then this last time it was 2 days late. I have put up with this because I couldn't find something else, now I have another job and want to report her I just don't know who else besides the labor board I can contact. We also have an expired business license, expired sales permit, expired fire extinguisher, and no defibrillator on the premises, which I understand is all illegal. Not to mention only a few of us are CPR certified. Also, I have worked here the longest and get paid the least! Just from talking with the other girls who thought I made the same amount as they do, I found out I am the ONLY employee being paid minimum wage... everyone else makes almost a dollar more per hour than I do. And it has nothing to do with experience, we all were hired with no previous fitness experience, it's not fair! I know I can't report her for that because we shouldn't be discussing wages with each other but still! I would just like to know who else I can report her to... like I said I put up with it for a while but I am done I wanna report her to every one and everything I can!
