I had a hysterectomy last Dec. 2009. I had the healing time from 4-6 weeks already.?

I was wondering how much longer it will take for me to get back to normal? I know my insides are still healing. I was wondering how much longer I need to heal? I heard it takes from 6 months to a year. Are there anythings I could do to help myself heal better? I'm already working I started back to work under Dr.s orders. I'm just hoping I didn't go back too soon. I work with children. So there is a lot of lifting.
