Essential Elements Cello help?

I'm planning on taking cello in orchestra in my next school year, and it says that I need to cover essential elements books 1, 2, and 3. I looked them up online, and I only saw Essential ELEMENTS books 1 and 2, and Essential TECHNIQUE book 3. Is this the 3rd book, or is it a different series? Thanks for all help.
