Help me name that movie please?

Im trying to remember a movie I saw in the 90's about a group of kids that go into a spooky circus and see a giant machine that can hear the wishes of kids all around the world, but sometimes they turn into nightmares. That is all I really remember of the movie other than the line "Museum of Natural History", if that helps at all lol.
