Do you think Arun Gandhi should have been forced to resign from his own institute?

University of Rochester president Joel Seligman got Gandhi to move his institute to the U of R last year knowing he had frequently criticized Israel. Now he has done so again - in very moderate terms - and Seligman has forced his resignation putting the M.K. Gandhi Institute for Non-Violence under Seligman's control. It was formerly located at a catholic university. Do you think Arun walked into a trap? Did his statement 9 see wiki) really constitute "attacking" Israel? Even if it did,is there some reason why this should be the sole government on earth where it is forbidden to criticize? Is this a vestige of those chosen people concept?
